Humans have no idea what its like for rabbits, chinchellas, foxes and any other animal that is skinned for their fur. There  For centuries this for torturing has been going on. Fur Farmers have come up with different ways to Kill these animals so that the fur stays in  good condition. Also life on these fur farms revolve around the reproductive cycle of the animals. Mink typically breed in march, Foxes breed once a year usually January and February and it only lasts a few weeks, Chinchillas can breed up to 3 times a year. Rabbits breed for up to 9 months  from februrary through october and can produce 800 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.    There are over 400 fur farms in the United States and  there is no federal law regulations on killing or keeping fur animals.  This not some hobby that farmers do every once in a while. This is a business KILLING, KILLING AND MORE KILLING.  I have posted the PETA sight in the continuing fight against animal cruelty. Wont u take a stand?

Unfortunately animals that are killed for fur don't have lawyers per say, to speak up for them as humans do when harm is done to us. There are various animals rights activists groups. But the  most noted  is an  non-profit  animal rights organization http://www.peta.org/  which started in 1980 in Norfolk, Va. Peta which stands for PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS.  PETA has approximately 300 employees and 200 million supporters some which include high profile celebrities as well as fashion designers  and just recently The First lady Michelle Obama. PETA has  very successful media outlet by following them on some popular social sites such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and signing up for the newsletter in how you can help to prevent animals cruelty. The organization investigates and exposes animal cruelty in the United States as well as in internationally

By the year 2000, more than 240 fashion designers have included  real fur in their collection. This is not necessary. All these animals being killed and im sure at the rate in which they are being killed they may at some point become extinct. Do you know that average price of a Fur? Well it depends on which type.
Chinchilla can range from $5000.00 and up,  A mink can range from  $3000.00 to $10.000 and a Fox can range from $ 2000.00 and up. Depending on the number of pelts and the length of the jacket varies. This can be a very expensive luxuary have as well as maintain.

Fur Farms started in North America, after the civil war which is over 100 years ago, and  is the fifth largest mink producing country in the world.  Fox farms are the most common  and makeup fifty-eight percent in Europe and 10 percent in the United States while the rest are spread throughout the world. Fur Farming are also the ways  farmers  raise and breed animals that make fur coats such as  Foxes, chinchillas, minks and rabbits.  Most Farms are family owned businesses and are passed down by two and three generations.
Furs are very expensive to purchase and  also very expensive to maintain cleaning and storage.  The average price for storing a fur is $50.00 for the summer months. The summer months for storage can start as early as June and as  late as the beginning of october. So you figure summer is approximately 3-5  month. In this economy thats an costly luxuary to maintain every year. Then to clean a Fur coat is another $50.00. So the total price is about $150.00 for 3 months. The sooner you put it in storage the more it will cost. When in essence you dont need a fur. Also you have insure the fur and thats another $25.00- $ 50.00.  There are plenty of other options for being stylish during the winter months, that prevent animal cruelty, save you money and will not effect the health of the producers making furs. Like wearing cotton, Faux furs.

Did you know that fur is the oldest form of clothing? Also is the word "FUR" is used as a coat, shawl and a wrap.   Some Furs require the useage of chemicals  such as sawdust, salts and acids to perserve them. This can be harmful to the workers if they are exposed while in the process of it being created.   It can have an effect on  pulmonary functions which help the blood from the heart to the lungs.  While animals suffering, so are humans.

Its a shame that millions of animals are  tortoured and killed every year by Fur Farmers across the North America so humans can have the Luxuary of being warm and stylish.   It takes about 100 to 250 pelts,to make ONE chinchilla fur coat.  Fur Farmers  are the farmers that raise and breed animals that make fur coats such as  Foxes, chinchillas, minks and rabbits.  Most Farms are family owned businesses and are passed down by two and three generations. These animals as seen in my video posted on my sight beaten and skinned alive.
